Dilijan City Stadium Development

The Dilijan Development Foundation (DDF) is launching a comprehensive reconstruction project of the City Stadium, aiming to transform it into a modern, accessible, and comfortable sports facility. The project is an important step toward strengthening the urban environment and promoting sports, especially among young people. 

Key areas of modernization: 

• Renovation of the football field to meet international standards. 
• Construction of new, comfortable spectator stands. 
•  Installation of modern locker rooms, coaching, and medical facilities. 
•  Implementation of professional lighting and a drainage system to allow games to be held in the evening and in bad weather conditions. 

The stadium’s reconstruction is being carried out within the framework of two key DDF programs: 

• Creating a sustainable urban environment 
• Developing football culture in Dilijan 

The stadium will become the home ground for the “Impulse” Football Academy, established with the foundation’s support in 2023. Today, the academy trains more than 150 children across six age groups. Its mission is to promote youth sports in Dilijan by engaging children and teenagers in regular training and participation in various tournaments. 

The development of the City Stadium is an investment in the health, education, and social future of Dilijan.
